Freestyle Academy proudly presents
For my parody I was able to use my love for writing songs and recording in a creative way that allowed me to learn so much more about Pro Tools and gain experience in producing music. Throughout this process, I was able to learn about plugins, the difference between mono and stereo, how to remove vocals from a song, and how all the different components of a track come together, to name a few. I also got to record in the studio which was so much fun. My parody is a spin off of the song “Landslide” by Fleetwood Mac, and explores the struggles of life as a student humorously.
